Wardrobes in Pakistan: Designs, Materials, Types and Price Ranges
Wardrobes in Pakistan range from a free-standing steel almari to a full fitted wall of sliding doors, and the right choice depends on the room, the budget and how long you will stay. Most bedrooms need hanging space, shelves and drawers, and the door type decides how much floor space the wardrobe uses. This guide compares the types, explains materials and fittings, gives planning rates by quality and links to a guide for every type. For fittings, see wardrobe accessories.
Wardrobe types compared
The type decides space, cost and look.
| Type | Best for | Note |

| Sliding wardrobe | Narrow rooms | No swing space; needs a good track |
| Hinged wardrobe | Most bedrooms | Needs swing clearance |
| Walk-in wardrobe | Large homes | Needs a dedicated room |
| Steel or aluminium almari | Durability, humid homes | Fewer styles |
| Portable and plastic | Rented homes, tight budgets | Light, limited life |

Size and the room
A typical fitted wardrobe is around 42 sq ft of visible face, and depth is commonly about 22 to 24 in. Measure the wall, the ceiling height and the window and door positions. Our wardrobe and kitchen calculator turns face area into a quick estimate.

Inside the wardrobe
Plan hanging rails at different heights, shelves, drawers and a shoe space. Soft-close hinges, tandem drawers and internal lighting make daily use better. See wardrobe fittings for the choices.

Send the room size, a sketch or photo and the finish you like. We confirm what we can supply and reply with a written rate that lists every item. Before you order, confirm the exact size or model, ask for the specification and warranty in writing, and compare totals including fitting and delivery rather than the item price alone. To get a close first estimate, clear the area, mark sockets, switches and pipe positions, note the ceiling height and photograph the space from two corners.
