Tiles Market in Pakistan: Price Tiers, How Dealers Quote and How to Buy Well
The tiles market in Pakistan is large and varied, with local manufacturers, imported ranges and dealers who quote by the box, the sq ft or the sq metre. Prices span a wide range, and without a plan it is easy to overpay or buy the wrong tile. This guide explains the price tiers, how dealers quote, how to compare offers, what to check and the mistakes to avoid. For brand-specific checks, see tile brands in Pakistan.
Price tiers
The market falls into tiers.
| Tier | Typical products | Indicative range per sq ft |

| Economy | Basic ceramic wall and floor tiles | PKR 120 - 250 |
| Mid-range | Better ceramic and porcelain-type tiles | About PKR 150 - 450 |
| Premium | Granite tiles and large-format porcelain | PKR 600 - 2,200 |
| Imported luxury | Imported porcelain and marble | PKR 1,000 - 3,000 + |
Indicative market ranges. Prices change with brand, size, finish and stock.

How dealers quote
Dealers may quote per box, per sq ft or per sq metre. Convert everything to the same unit, using the coverage printed on the box, so you can compare. Ask whether the price includes tax and delivery.
Buying by the box
A box holds a fixed number of tiles and covers a fixed area, so you buy whole boxes. Work out the area, add wastage and round up to whole boxes. Buy all boxes from one batch.
Local and imported ranges
Local ranges are lower in price and easy to match later, and imported ranges offer more designs and larger sizes. See porcelain tiles and ceramic tiles for the types.
Mistakes to avoid
- Comparing different series or grades as if equal.
- Ordering exactly the area, with no wastage.
- Mixing batches in one room.
- Forgetting adhesive, grout and labour in the budget.
Getting a written quote
Send the room list and sizes, and we reply with a written rate for the tile, the boxes and the fixing materials. See tile cost per sq ft for how the total builds up.
How we quote
Send the room size, a sketch or photo and the finish you like. We confirm what we can supply and reply with a written rate that lists every item. Before you order, confirm the exact size or model, ask for the specification and warranty in writing, and compare totals including fitting and delivery rather than the item price alone. To get a close first estimate, clear the area, mark sockets, switches and pipe positions, note the ceiling height and photograph the space from two corners.
| Item | Unit | Scope | Supply | Rate |

Frequently Asked Questions
Dealers quote per box, per sq ft or per sq metre, depending on the tile and the dealer. Convert all quotes to one unit using the coverage on the box, and compare the same series, size and grade, with tax and delivery stated.
Indicative ranges run from about PKR 120 to 250 per sq ft for economy ceramic, PKR 150 to 450 for mid-range tiles, PKR 600 to 2,200 for granite and large-format porcelain and PKR 1,000 to 3,000 or more for imported luxury.
Compare the same series, size and grade across several quotes, convert to price per sq ft, check what is included and avoid ordering more than needed. Add a realistic wastage allowance and buy one batch. A written quote prevents surprises. Measure carefully and confirm sizes with the supplier before ordering.
Commonly about 5 to 10 per cent for straight laying and more for diagonal patterns, small rooms and large tiles that need many cuts. Round up to whole boxes and keep spare tiles for future repairs.
Sometimes, but buying through a dealer can give stock, delivery and support, and dealer margins vary. Compare the delivered price per sq ft, including tax, and check that the batch and grade are as stated before you pay. If in doubt, send a photo and the measurements and we will advise.
Send the room size, the tile size you prefer and a photo of the space on WhatsApp. We confirm what we can supply and reply with a written rate that lists the tile, the boxes needed with wastage and the adhesive and grout, so you can compare quotes on the same scope.
