Tile Brands in Pakistan: How to Compare Brands and Check What You Are Buying
Tile brands in Pakistan range from large local manufacturers to imported names, and a brand on a box does not tell you the grade, the size accuracy or the shade batch of the tiles inside. This guide explains how to compare brands on the things that matter, how to read a box label, why prices differ between dealers and how to check a delivery. Manufacturers do not publish an official price list; the ranges on this page are current market rates. For the pages on individual names, see Master, Tuff, Shabbir and the other brand guides below.
What separates a good tile
Five checks matter more than the logo.
| Check | What to look for |
|---|---|
| Size accuracy | Tiles in a box should match closely so joints stay even |
| Grade | First grade, free of chips, warps and glaze defects |
| Shade batch | One batch code per room, to avoid colour differences |
| Flatness | A straight edge should lie flat on the face |
| Water absorption and strength | Porcelain-type for wet and outdoor areas |

Why prices differ between dealers
Prices differ with the series, size, finish, grade, stock and the dealer's margin. Two quotes for the same brand can differ if the series or grade is not the same. Always compare the exact series, size and grade.
| Item | Indicative range |
|---|---|
| Basic ceramic wall and floor tile | PKR 120 - 450 per sq ft |
| Mid-range 600 x 600 mm porcelain-type floor tile | About PKR 150 - 185 per sq ft |
| Granite tile | PKR 600 - 2,200 per sq ft |
| Imported porcelain or marble tile | PKR 1,000 - 3,000 + per sq ft |
| Tile laying labour | PKR 40 - 100 per sq ft |
Indicative market ranges. Prices change with brand, size, finish and stock.
Local and imported tiles
Local brands usually cost less and are easier to match for later repairs, while imported tiles offer more designs and larger formats at a higher price. Ask for the origin and the series in writing, and keep spare boxes for repairs.
How to check a delivery
Match the box labels to the quote, check the batch codes are the same, open a few boxes and lay tiles side by side to check size, shade and flatness. Report problems before fixing starts, since fixed tiles cannot be returned.

Comparing quotes
Ask each supplier for the brand, series, size, grade, boxes needed, wastage allowance and whether adhesive, grout and delivery are included. A lower price with a different grade or size is not a saving. Read the how to choose tiles guide.
How we quote
Send the room size, a sketch or photo and the finish you like. We confirm what we can supply and reply with a written rate that lists every item. Before you order, confirm the exact size or model, ask for the specification and warranty in writing, and compare totals including fitting and delivery rather than the item price alone. To get a close first estimate, clear the area, mark sockets, switches and pipe positions, note the ceiling height and photograph the space from two corners.
| Item | Unit | Scope | Supply | Rate |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Branded tiles, by series and size | Per sq ft or per box | Material and hardware, fitting quoted separately | Supply across Pakistan | Ceramic PKR 100 – 260; porcelain PKR 250 – 580 per sq ft |
| Adhesive and grout | As needed | Material and hardware, fitting quoted separately | Supply across Pakistan | PKR 1,400 – 2,500 per 20 kg bag |
Frequently Asked Questions
No single brand is best for every job. Quality depends on the series, grade, size accuracy and batch, so compare tiles on the same specification instead of trusting a ranking. Check the box label, lay samples side by side and buy from a dealer who can show batch details.
No. Manufacturers do not publish an official price list; the ranges on this page are current market rates. We quote the tiles we can supply, in writing, on the day. Ask any supplier for the exact series, size and grade on the quote.
First-grade tiles are free of chips, warps and glaze defects and match closely in size. The grade is printed on the box. Open a few boxes, lay tiles together and check the edges and the face before fixing, since defects show once the floor is laid.
Tiles are made in batches, and shade can vary between batches. The batch code is printed on the box. Buy all the boxes for one room from the same batch and add spares, because matching a shade later can be difficult.
Not necessarily. Imported tiles offer more designs and larger formats at a higher price, while local tiles cost less and are easier to match for repairs. Compare the grade, size accuracy and water absorption, not only the origin. If in doubt, send a photo and the measurements and we will advise.
Send the room size, the tile size you prefer and a photo of the space on WhatsApp. We confirm what we can supply and reply with a written rate that lists the tile, the boxes needed with wastage and the adhesive and grout, so you can compare quotes on the same scope.
