Ceiling Lights Price in Pakistan: Indicative Rates by Type, Wattage and Brand

Ceiling lights price in Pakistan runs from a few hundred rupees for a basic LED downlight to many thousands for branded panels and decorative fixtures, and the difference lies in the brand, the driver, the wattage and the finish. This guide gives indicative ranges by type, explains what moves the price, shows a worked example for a room and how to compare quotes. For the types themselves, see ceiling lights.

Indicative ranges by type

Ready-made ceiling lights vary widely.

What moves the price

  • Brand and warranty: branded lights cost more but last longer.
  • Driver quality: the driver is the part that fails.
  • Wattage and lumens: more light costs more.
  • Size and finish: larger or decorative fixtures cost more.
  • Dimming and smart features add cost.

A worked example for a room

A 12 x 14 ft living room might use eight 7 W downlights and one decorative pendant. At the indicative ranges, the lights come to roughly the figures below. They show the method, and exclude wiring, drivers and installation.

Wiring, drivers and fitting

The fixture is only part of the cost. Budget for wiring, switches and dimmers, drivers where needed and fitting labour. In a false ceiling, plan the positions before the ceiling closes, as covered in ceiling light design.

How to compare quotes

Ask each supplier to quote the same wattage, colour temperature, brand and warranty, and to say whether drivers and bulbs are included. A cheaper light with a weak driver is not a saving.

Cheap against good lighting

Very cheap lights often flicker, change colour or fail within a year. A branded light with a warranty costs more but is cheaper over its life, since LED life depends on the driver. See LED ceiling lights.

How we quote

Send the room size, a sketch or photo and the finish you like. We confirm what we can supply and reply with a written rate that lists every item. Before you order, confirm the exact size or model, ask for the specification and warranty in writing, and compare totals including fitting and delivery rather than the item price alone. To get a close first estimate, clear the area, mark sockets, switches and pipe positions, note the ceiling height and photograph the space from two corners.

Frequently Asked Questions

Indicative ranges are PKR 240 to 400 for 7 W LED downlights, about PKR 400 for COB spots, from PKR 600 for 12 W round panels, PKR 990 to 2,400 for modern pendants and about PKR 1,600 for 20 W battens. Branded panels run higher, so Designer ceiling lights from Pakistani lighting stores run from PKR 2,400 to 7,000.

Prices differ with the brand, driver quality, wattage, size and finish, and with the warranty. A cheap light may use a weak driver that fails early. Compare the same wattage, colour and warranty before you decide. Check the warranty terms and who honours them before you pay.

A living room with eight 7 W downlights and one modern pendant costs roughly PKR 2,900 to 5,600 for the lights at the indicative ranges, excluding wiring, drivers and installation. Larger rooms, decorative fixtures and branded lights cost more. Measure carefully and confirm sizes with the supplier before ordering.

Often yes, because the driver and heat control decide life, and branded lights usually carry a warranty. Cheap lights may fail within a year, so the total cost can be higher. Check the warranty terms and keep the receipt.

Usually not. Fixture prices exclude wiring, switches, dimmers, drivers and fitting labour. Ask each supplier to list what is included, and plan the positions before a false ceiling closes to avoid extra cost. If in doubt, send a photo and the measurements and we will advise.

Send the room size, the ceiling height and a photo on WhatsApp. We confirm what we can supply and reply with a written rate that lists the fixture, the wattage and the bulbs or driver, so you can compare it with other quotes and with the indicative ranges on this page.
