Why small brands exist
Fan making is a large cottage and small-factory industry. Many workshops make fans in volume for local markets and sell under their own names or for wholesalers. Some are careful makers with good motors and honest labels. Others save money on winding, bearings and paint. A name alone tells you little, so judge the product in front of you.
Brand names you will meet
Names that buyers ask about include Breeze, Shaban, Time Star, Al Sheikh, Karam, Finex and Mefco, along with many others. Listings and shops may use different spellings. We do not make claims about any of them, because quality depends on the model and the batch. If you want to compare a bigger name, see our pages on GFC, Royal, Pak and Sonex fans.
What price to expect
Small brands usually sit below the large names. The ranges below are indicative market figures to help you judge a quote.
| Item | Indicative range |
|---|---|
| Entry-level 56 inch AC ceiling fan, small brand | PKR 5,000 - 9,000 |
| Mid-range 56 inch AC ceiling fan | PKR 9,000 - 12,000 |
| Branded 56 inch AC ceiling fan | PKR 10,000 - 19,000 |
| 30 watt inverter 56 inch fan | PKR 10,000 - 17,000 |
Prices move with brand, model, size and stock. Use these ranges to judge a quote, then compare the exact model and what is included.

How to judge the motor
The motor is the heart of the fan. Ask whether the winding is copper and not aluminium, and look at the weight of the motor, since a heavier body usually has more copper and iron. A light, thin motor may save the maker money and cost you a shorter life. Ask for the watt rating and the speed in revolutions per minute.
Warranty and service
A small brand without a clear written warranty is a risk. Ask what the warranty covers, for how long and who repairs the fan. Keep the invoice and the box. A seller who can explain the claim process is a better sign than a logo.
Ask also whether the warranty covers the capacitor, the remote and the blades, or only the motor.Checks in the shop
- Run it. Test all speeds for noise, wobble and smell.
- Look at the finish. Paint should be even and blades true.
- Check the label. Watts, volts and model should be printed clearly.
- Weigh it. A very light motor is a warning sign.
- Ask for parts. Capacitors and remotes should be easy to find.

When a big name is worth it
For a fan that runs all day in a hot room, the extra cost of a better-known maker can pay back through quiet running and a long life. For a store room or a short-use space, a good small brand can be enough. See the size and wattage guide and our inverter fan page to decide what type suits you.
Fit and wiring
Fit the fan on a proper hook, match the regulator to the fan type and protect the circuit with an MCB. Fixed wiring should be done by a licensed electrician. A fan regulator suits an AC fan, but not an inverter fan that has its own controller.
Frequently Asked Questions
Some are good and some are not. Quality depends on the model and the batch more than on the name. Check the motor winding, the weight, the label and the warranty, and test the fan in the shop before you pay.
An entry-level 56 inch AC fan from a small brand is indicatively PKR 5,000 to 9,000, and a mid-range one PKR 9,000 to 12,000. A branded fan usually costs PKR 10,000 to 19,000, and a 30 watt inverter fan PKR 10,000 to 17,000.
Ask the seller in writing, and look at the weight and the build. A heavier motor body usually has more copper and iron. A very light motor with thin wire is a warning sign. A written copper-winding statement helps if there is a dispute later.
Many do, but terms vary. Ask what is covered, for how long and who repairs it, and get it in writing. Keep the invoice and the box, because a claim usually needs both. Ask who handles the claim and whether the shop or the maker repairs the fan.
You can, if it passes the shop checks: quiet on all speeds, true blades, a clear label and a written warranty. For a bedroom used every night, a quiet and reliable motor matters most, so test carefully. Test it at night-time speed.
Send the size, the type and the number of fans on WhatsApp. We confirm what we can supply and reply with a written rate that lists the model, wattage, warranty and delivery, so you can compare quotes from different sellers on the same scope.
