PVC Moulding for Walls and Ceilings in Pakistan
PVC moulding is the light, moisture-resistant trim that frames wall panels, finishes ceiling edges and builds box-frame wall designs without the weight or upkeep of wood. This page explains where it works, how it compares with MDF and timber, how it is fitted, and how to ask for a rate. It is part of our wall moulding collection.

What the trim is made of and how it behaves
Moulding is a shaped strip fixed on or around a wall surface: a flat band, a stepped profile, a curved cornice or a thin trim. The plastic version is extruded as a hollow or solid strip, so it is light enough to be fixed with adhesive and small pins, and it does not swell when a wall gets damp the way MDF can.
That matters in Lahore homes where bathrooms, kitchens and ground-floor rooms see humidity, and where the same trim has to survive a long, hot summer. It cuts cleanly with a fine-tooth saw and needs none of the sealing and varnishing that raw timber does.

Where it works best
Most orders fall into four jobs. A panel border hides the cut edge of a wall panel and gives the wall a finished frame. A ceiling border closes the gap between a PVC ceiling and the wall; the panel side of that job is on our PVC ceiling panels page. A box-frame wall uses slim strips to draw rectangles on a plain wall, the classic style we cover on the French wall moulding page. A door or niche frame gives a plain opening a defined edge.
Where wall panels meet a ceiling, a floor or another finish, a trim is cleaner than a raw edge. Browse the PVC wall panel range first, then choose a profile that matches the panel colour or contrasts with it on purpose.
PVC, MDF or wood: which moulding suits which room
The right material depends on the room, not only on budget.

Frequently Asked Questions
PVC moulding is used as a border for wall panels, a cornice at the ceiling line, a frame for box-style wall designs and a trim around doors or niches. It is light, resists moisture and cuts easily, so it suits both walls and PVC ceilings in Pakistani homes.
Yes, once the surface is clean and lightly keyed, it can be painted with a suitable primer and paint. White is the usual finish. If you want a coloured or wood-look finish, ask for a sample first so you can judge the shade in daylight.
PVC does not absorb water or swell, so it handles damp walls better than MDF. It still needs a sound wall behind it, because moisture trapped under adhesive can lift any trim. For bathrooms, pair it with waterproof PVC wall panels.
The moulding is priced per running foot and depends on profile width and finish.Moulding is priced per sq ft of wall: French moulding PKR 300 – 550, framed French wall PKR 400 – 600 (PKR 500 – 750 painted) and moon wall PKR 800 – 1,000.
Yes. It is a common edge finish for PVC ceilings because it hides the gap against the wall and matches the panel material. Choose the profile at the same time as the ceiling panels so the colours and widths work together.
