Bathroom Tiles Price in Pakistan: Indicative Wall and Floor Rates and a Worked Example

Bathroom tiles price in Pakistan depends on the tile you choose for the walls and the floor, and the wall and floor tiles are usually different products. A bathroom has more cutting, more joints and a need for waterproofing, so labour and materials cost more per sq ft than a plain room. This guide gives indicative rates, a worked example for a small bathroom, the extras to budget and how to compare quotes. For designs, see bathroom tiles design.

Indicative rates

These are indicative ranges for bathroom tiling items.

A worked example

A small bathroom of 6 x 8 ft with walls tiled to about 7 ft has roughly 48 sq ft of floor and about 180 sq ft of wall. At the indicative ranges, the tile and labour work out as below, excluding waterproofing, adhesive and grout.

Waterproofing and extras

Budget separately for waterproofing the floor and lower walls, adhesive, grout, spacers, trims and any plumbing changes. A bathroom that leaks costs far more than the tiles. See tile adhesive and bond.

Choosing wall and floor tiles

Use anti-slip floor tiles and smooth wall tiles that are easy to clean. See bathroom tiles design, small bathroom tiles and bathroom floor tiles.

How to compare quotes

Ask for separate lines for wall tile, floor tile, waterproofing, adhesive, grout, labour and wastage. A single lump sum hides differences. Compare the tile series, size and grade as well as the total.

How we quote

Send the room size, a sketch or photo and the finish you like. We confirm what we can supply and reply with a written rate that lists every item. Before you order, confirm the exact size or model, ask for the specification and warranty in writing, and compare totals including fitting and delivery rather than the item price alone. To get a close first estimate, clear the area, mark sockets, switches and pipe positions, note the ceiling height and photograph the space from two corners.

Frequently Asked Questions

Indicative ranges are about PKR 120 to 450 per sq ft for wall tiles and about PKR 150 to 450 for anti-slip floor tiles, with laying at PKR 40 to 100 per sq ft. Our rates page uses about PKR 260 per sq ft tiled for kitchen and bathroom work.

A 6 x 8 ft bathroom with walls tiled to about 7 ft comes to roughly PKR 38,000 to 125,000 for tile and laying at the indicative ranges, excluding waterproofing, adhesive and grout. The tile you choose has the largest effect, so get a written quote.

Usually yes. Floor tiles need an anti-slip finish and strength, while wall tiles can be smoother and lighter. Using the same tile on both is possible with the right finish, but the floor needs grip and a slope to the drain. Measure carefully and confirm sizes with the supplier before ordering.

Yes. Waterproofing the floor and the lower walls before tiling protects the structure from leaks, which are costly to fix. Budget for it separately, and use a method the installer can guarantee, with a flood test before tiling.

Choose standard sizes and local ranges, keep the layout simple, tile only the wet areas fully and paint the upper walls, and order the right quantity. Spend on waterproofing and adhesive, since failures there cost more than any tile saving. If in doubt, send a photo and the measurements and we will advise.

Send the room size, the tile size you prefer and a photo of the space on WhatsApp. We confirm what we can supply and reply with a written rate that lists the tile, the boxes needed with wastage and the adhesive and grout, so you can compare quotes on the same scope.
