Acoustic Panels Price in Pakistan: Rates by Type, Thickness and Coverage

Acoustic panels price in Pakistan depends on the type of panel, its thickness and sound absorption rating, and how much of the room you need to treat. Most rooms need panels on only a fraction of the wall area, so the type you pick matters more than the size of the room. This guide lists our published per sq ft ranges, explains what moves the rate, works through a room example and shows how to compare quotes fairly. For the full product line, see our acoustic panels range.

Published rates by panel type

These are the indicative ranges per sq ft on our acoustic panels page. They cover the panel material only, and fitting is added separately.

Panel typeRate per sq ftTypical use
Fabric-wrapped panelsPKR 280 - 450Offices, home theatres, bedrooms
Acoustic wood panelsPKR 350 - 600Boardrooms, lounges, restaurants

Perforated MDF panelsPKR 280 - 420Halls, classrooms, auditoriums
Installation add-onPKR 50 - 80Per sq ft labour, materials extra

Ranges are indicative and change with finish and size. Product detail: decorative acoustic panels and acoustic foam panels.

What moves the rate

  • Panel type: foam is the lowest in our list, wood and felt sit higher because of the face material.
  • Thickness: we supply 25, 50 and 75 mm options, and thicker panels absorb lower frequencies better and cost more.
  • NRC rating: the noise reduction coefficient runs from 0 to 1, and our panels range from about 0.65 to 0.95 depending on type.
  • Size and finish: standard sizes are 600 x 600 mm and 1200 x 600 mm, and custom sizes and colours cost more.
  • Fitting: adhesive, frame or track fixing changes the labour.

How much of the room needs panels

You rarely treat every wall. For most rooms, panels over roughly 15 to 30 per cent of the wall area give a clear drop in echo. Place them first on the walls where sound bounces most, and add more only if the room still sounds hard. Our placement and installation guide shows where to start.

A worked example for a 12 x 14 ft room

With a 10 ft ceiling, the four walls add up to 2 x (12 + 14) x 10 = 520 sq ft. Treating 15 to 30 per cent means 78 to 156 sq ft of panels. Using the fabric-wrapped range of PKR 280 to 450 per sq ft and fitting at PKR 50 to 80, the working looks like this.

ItemLow endHigh end

TotalPKR 25,740PKR 82,680

The figures show the method using the published ranges. Your quote depends on the exact panel, finish and site.

How to compare two quotes

A quote is only comparable when the specification matches. Ask each supplier to write down the panel type, the thickness, the NRC rating, the size, the finish, the quantity in sq ft and whether fitting is included. A lower rate for a thinner or lower-rated panel is not a saving. Also ask what the panel core is made of and how the face is fixed.

Absorption is not soundproofing

Acoustic panels absorb sound inside a room and reduce echo, but they do not stop sound passing through a wall. If your problem is noise from next door or outside, read do soundproof wall panels work before you spend. Many rooms need both treatments, and the budgets are separate.

Fitting and aftercare

Fitting is priced at PKR 50 to 80 per sq ft on our range. Panels can be glued, screwed to a frame or hung on a track, depending on the wall and the panel. Dust them gently with a soft brush, and avoid wetting fabric faces. We supply across Pakistan and fit in Lahore, so tell us your city when you ask for a quote.

How we quote

Send the room size, the use of the room and a photo. We recommend a panel type and reply with a written rate that lists the specification.

Acoustic Panels Price in Pakistan: Frequently Asked Questions

On our published ranges, foam panels start lower, around PKR 250 to 380 per sq ft, while fabric, felt, perforated and wood panels run from about PKR 280 up to 600 per sq ft. Fitting is PKR 50 to 80 per sq ft extra. Send your room details for a written rate.

Acoustic foam is the lowest in our list, but it suits studios and podcast rooms more than lounges or offices. A cheaper panel is only good value if it fits the job, so match the type to the room before you compare rates, and check the thickness and rating.

Most rooms need panels over about 15 to 30 per cent of the wall area. Start with the walls that reflect sound the most, check how the room sounds and add more if needed. A 12 x 14 ft room with a 10 ft ceiling usually needs roughly 78 to 156 sq ft.

Yes. We supply 25, 50 and 75 mm options, and thicker panels absorb lower frequencies better and cost more. For speech and general echo, thinner panels often do the job. For bass control in a home cinema or studio, thicker panels are the better choice.

No. The ranges are for the material, and fitting is quoted separately at PKR 50 to 80 per sq ft. We supply across Pakistan and fit in Lahore. Always ask each supplier whether fixings, frames and labour are inside the rate before you compare quotes.

Send the room size, what the room is used for and a photo on WhatsApp. We recommend a panel type, tell you how much coverage the room needs and reply with a written rate that lists the type, thickness, size and fitting so you can compare it fairly.
