- Size & tiers: multi-tier fixtures with more arms and lights cost more.
- Light source: LED-integrated fixtures cost more upfront but far less to run.
- Imported vs local: fully imported crystal pieces carry the biggest premium; locally assembled designs sit in the middle.

How to Size a Chandelier for Your Room
A rough rule: add the room's length and width in feet — that sum in inches is roughly the right chandelier diameter (a 12 × 14 ft room → about a 26-inch fixture). Over a dining table, aim for a chandelier about half to two-thirds the table's width, hung 30–36 inches above the tabletop.
Crystal vs Modern vs ‘Fancy Light’
- Crystal: the traditional, most-requested look — best for formal dining rooms and entryways.
- Modern / geometric: matte black or brass linear and drum fixtures for contemporary rooms.
- ‘Fancy light’ fixtures: decorative multi-arm and pendant styles that sit between a basic ceiling light and a full chandelier.
