DC Ceiling Fan Price in Pakistan: Pure DC, AC DC and BLDC Types, 12 V and 24 V Models, Battery and Solar Use

DC ceiling fan price in Pakistan runs from about PKR 4,500 for a small 12 volt fan to PKR 17,600 or more for a larger AC DC solar model, and the right type depends on whether you want to run it only from a battery or from mains as well. This page explains the three kinds of DC fan, the common voltages, how battery and solar use works, indicative rates and what to check before you buy. See DC inverter ceiling fans and the 12 volt ceiling fan page for related notes.

Three kinds of DC fan

  • Pure DC fan. Runs only on 12 or 24 volt DC. Needs a battery or a DC supply.
  • AC DC fan. Runs on mains and also on DC, with an automatic changeover.
  • BLDC fan. A brushless motor, often AC DC, with a remote and an efficient controller.

Rates depend on type, size and brand. These indicative ranges show common retail figures.

ItemIndicative range
12 V pure DC ceiling fanPKR 4,500 - 9,000
AC DC ceiling fan, 56 inchPKR 8,500 - 12,500
AC DC solar fan, brandedPKR 9,972 - 17,595
BLDC fan with remotePKR 11,000 - 22,000
Premium 5-blade AC DC fanPKR 19,500 - 28,000

Prices move with brand, model, size and stock. Use these ranges to judge a quote, then compare the exact model and what is included.

12 V and 24 V models

Small pure DC fans use 12 volts, while larger fans and long cable runs use 24 volts to cut current. Match the fan to your battery bank voltage, because a 12 volt fan on a 24 volt supply is damaged at once. Read the label and the manual before you wire anything.

Running on solar

A DC fan connected to a solar panel through a charge controller and battery runs without mains. Size the panel and battery for the hours you need. An AC DC fan is easier because it works on mains and on solar, as explained in the inverter fan guide.

Wiring and protection

Use the correct cable for low-voltage, high-current wiring, keep runs short and protect the battery side with a DC breaker. Fixed wiring should be done by a qualified person. Do not wire a standard regulator to a DC fan.

What to check before buying

  • Voltage. 12 V, 24 V or wide-range.
  • Type. Pure DC, AC DC or BLDC.
  • Remote. Test it in the shop.
  • Current. Ask for amperes at high speed.
  • Warranty. Ask for it in writing.

Compared with inverter and rechargeable fans

A pure DC fan suits battery-only spaces. An AC DC or inverter fan suits most homes with mains and backup. A rechargeable ceiling fan has its own battery for a few hours. Pick by how often the power is out and how long.

Care

Keep batteries ventilated and dry, check terminals for corrosion and wipe the blades. A DC fan with a failing battery runs slowly or stops early, so test the battery before blaming the fan.

Frequently Asked Questions

A small 12 V DC fan is about PKR 4,500 to 9,000, an AC DC 56 inch fan about PKR 8,500 to 12,500 and a branded AC DC solar fan about PKR 9,972 to 17,595. BLDC models with a remote cost up to about PKR 22,000.

A pure DC fan runs only on DC from a battery. An AC DC fan runs on mains and switches to DC when there is a cut. AC DC fans are easier for homes that have both mains and a battery or solar system.

It is better to use a charge controller and a battery, because panel output varies. Match the panel and battery to the fan and protect the circuit with a DC-rated breaker. Measure carefully and confirm sizes with the seller before ordering. Rates and stock change, so confirm the current position before you commit.

Match your battery bank. Small systems use 12 volts and larger systems or long cable runs use 24 volts to reduce current. A fan on the wrong voltage is damaged, so check the label. Rates and stock change, so confirm the current position before you commit.

No. DC and AC DC fans have their own controllers and usually a remote. Wiring a standard regulator to them can damage the electronics. Use the supplied controller. If you are unsure, send a photo and the measurements and we will advise.

Send the quantity, the size or rating and a photo of the space. We reply with a written rate that names the model and the warranty, and lists what is and is not included, so the comparison with other sellers is fair.
